![]() Sucks if you aren't good at FPS, though.Īnd lastly, one that came out a few days ago called: 'The Beginner's Guide.' It's by the guy who created The Stanely Parable, another great and highly recommended game. They're both really great, though.īioshock Infinite is pretty darn neat, if you haven't played that. I personally played Transistor first and like it the best (it's also easier and takes less time than Bastion.) But most people enjoy Bastion better. They're both very similar games made one after the other. I agree with whoever above said Bastion and Transistor. The Mother Games are similar to Undertale, and Undertale is actually very much based off those games (or so I've heard.) Everything will come together at the end, if you do choose to play it. ![]() It's been said to be very challenging, but I myself got lucky and sped through it in a couple of hours. Similiar to Undertale, it promotes an important theme that you don't truly understand until you get the mind-♥♥♥♥ ending. ![]() There's been quite a few threads like this, and I'm going to recommend a game that's never been mentioned on any of them: "Gods Will Be Watching." It isn't much like Undertale, but it's a game that stayed with me for awhile. These are just games that resonated with me in the same way Undertale does. If you are fluent with emulators (or own a PS2 or PS3), you can try Persona 3 and/or 4.ĭark Souls is quite similar in that you are a stranger just arriving in a weird dangerous world who can meet very lovable characters but takes some patience to play due to it's pretty challenging combat. Yume Nikki is also worth looking up, but can be a little boring to play yourself so I recommend watching a Let's Play. But be warned, that game requires patience due to occasionally confusing exploration/puzzles. LISA is also great and was my GOTY before Taleunder beat it. I recommend The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us and most of all Tales From The Borderlands out of those. Telltale games are very good as first reply said. I cannot believe I live in a world where a $10 IndiePixelHugEmUp is so awesome that I've stopped caring about the last Metal Gear Solid in the series. It sort of ruined everything else for me for a long time. This reminds me of the feeling I got after beating Dark Souls. It's easy to assume that this aesthetic makes Everhood a "rip-off" of Undertale, but players shouldn't let the similarities deter them from this unique RPG experience.I know how you feel. ![]() ![]() It even shares Undertale's black grid backgrounds and signature pixel game font. Players will notice that Everhood and Undertale share a similar visual style, with its bold color palette and expressive pixel art characters. Besides its unique gameplay, Everhood features surreal scenarios with cryptic and philosophical dialogue, and players face important choices that challenge their perceptions of reality. Major Platforms: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Xbox Series X and Series SĮverhood Is the RPG Rhythm Battle Mash-Up You Didn't Know You Neededĭespite being a traditional RPG in many respects, Everhood's combat takes place in a musical rhythm game sort of like Guitar Hero, except the player has to avoid the notes instead of hitting them. ![]()
